Diss Farmers Market

by Suzanne Kayne last modified 29-October-2007 19:18

Moira Walters’ will be at Diss Farmers Market this month selling handmade cards, gift boxes, tree decorations, all at very reasonable prices. Moira also runs local workshops every month so if you are interested in paper-craft or card please visit her stall where you can find out more information. As well as Moira, this month sees the welcome return of Wolfs Brewery and Bhajiman, as well as the usual stallholders selling pork and beef, plants, home made fudge, home grown apple juice, eggs, cakes and other produce. In recognition of Remembrance Weekend, we will be giving away poppy seed cake and if you spend £10.00 at any of the stalls in the Market, you will be given a free cloth Diss Farmers Market bag. There will be live music from Peter and Marion and a chance to win our bumper hamper with produce provided by the stallholders. The Diss Farmers’ Market is unique in the town as a place where you can buy fresh, seasonal produce directly from the people who produce it. And they always offer friendly advice on how to cook things, and what is special at any season. Stallholders are all local, from within 30 miles of Diss, providing an environmentally friendly source of high quality food.
