P R A C T I C E
------------------
1. Practice every day - have a set time to practice.
2. Practice the bars you find MOST difficult first.
3. Play these bars slowly at first using long bows for each note.
4. LISTEN to yourself.
5. Does it sound good?
6. If it does not sound good, what do YOU think is wrong?
7. Hold your violin up and stand up straight when you practice, there should be more weight on your left foot.
8. Look in the mirror sometimes - do you thing you look like a violinist?
Is the bow drawn in a straight line or does it go round the bend?
If you practice slowly and carefully and listen to the sound you make you should improve.
You only have ONE lesson a week. You must be the TEACHER when you practice. Then you will have SEVEN lessons per week!
