Robinson Crusoe and the Pirates

robinson crusoe and the pirates will be a fabulous show for all the family.  robinson crusoe loves polly but she is always rushing off to look after her sick grandmother and willy crusoe loves bessie but her father captain bowsprit wants a son in law with money. luckily robinson inherits his uncle’s treasure map and sails away on the captains’s ship with willy, bessie and his mother ma crusoe.  the villainous blackbeard and his sidekick patch join them under cover intending to steal the map, however just as they are about to pounce, a new threat arrives in the shapely figure of a female pirate called the crimson hawk who lays claim to the treasure.   blackbeard sets fire to the ship and after encounters with the sea goddess neptune, our heroes find themselves shipwrecked on the very island they wanted to reach.  robinson makes a new friend man friday, but the others find themselves at the mercy of the island’s medicine woman.   robinson and friday come to the rescue, the treasure is discovered and the true identify of the crimson hawk is revealed.

a  pantomime in traditional style with lots of swashbuckling action, lively chorus numbers and plenty of audience involvement.
