Celebrations!
There will be a display of pictures of Diss from the archives plus the opportunity to contribute to the Community Archive yourself, via the ARCH Project. Bring along any old photographs you have of past celebrations, such as the Coronation, and enjoy an afternoon discovering Diss past and present.
The Denny Centre is a Community Support Centre run by Age Concern Norfolk and offers a range of services to older people and their families in the Diss area.
ARCH is a Cultural Services project involving Adult Education, Libraries and Museums, coordinated by Adult Education, with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The project has its own website at www.remembernorfolk.org.
The Diss Community Archiving Group will meet regularly at Diss Library and welcomes interest from people of all ages with memories or images of the Diss area, past and present. Free adult education courses plus art and craft events are planned for 2008.
