DissConnected.Net is going live!
This website is now open to the public.
You can now use, DissConnected.Net, become a member, and create your own content.
This is a community website, like MySpace, Flickr, etc. part of the new generation of websites where it is the members, and not the managers that create the content. So now it is up to you to see how you want to use it.
This is still very preliminary. We are calling it a 'feasibility phase' of DissConnected, because it has all been done with voluntary labour and is much more limited than what we hope it will be later in the year. See About DissConnected.Net for more details of what we hope it will be.
We are currently applying for grants to develop it further. By using this version and letting us know what you think of it you will help build the case for funding. Originally, we expected DissConnected.Net to be funded by the EU's LEADER+ programme as part of a funding bid by the Diss Community Partnership to support the Cittaslow programme for Diss.
