Creating a new account

by Gary Alexander last modified 30-August-2007 14:38

If you don't have an account on DissConnected.Net you can view all the public content that people have created, but you cannot create any of your own.

If you want to create content you must have an account on the system, which is free. Accounts are principally meant for residents of Diss, Norfolk and surrounding area. At present we do no checks on this, relying on the honour system, but we reserve the right to remove people who are disruptive.

To become a member, click on 'people' in the main navigation. If you agree with the joining conditions:

IN EVERYTHING PUT ON THIS SITE, MEMBERS MUST AGREE:
TO TREAT OTHER MEMBERS WITH RESPECT AND CONSIDERATION,
IN THE EXCHANGE, ESPECIALLY, TO ACT WITH INTEGRITY AND FAIRNESS.
NOT TO ADD ANYTHING ILLEGAL OR LIBELOUS AND TO BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT WHAT MIGHT APPEAR OFFENSIVE.
I AGREE WITH THESE CONDITIONS, AND YES, I WANT TO JOIN!

then click on 'YES, I WANT TO JOIN!'

That will take you to the Registration Form:

Fill in all the boxes and click on the Register button. That's it! You are now a member and have an account. Be sure to write down your username and password for future reference.
