An Evening with Landermason: Fiona Lander & Paul Mason
Northumbrian-based band Landermason, is the combined talents of multi-
instrumentalist Fiona Lander (vocals, piano, whistles, saxophones, clarinet
and recorder) and finger style guitarist/singer Paul Mason. Landermason
performed on Stage 2 at Cambridge Folk Festival 2009 and their striking
version of ‘When the Boat Comes In’ was included in the MOJO Top10 Playlist.
Landermason produces a sound which is breathtakingly beautiful and guaranteean evening
which is full of variety and flows effortlessly between haunting ballads, jaunty jazz and folk tunes
and the bounciest of jigs.
