Argentine Tango workshops and social dances

DissTango meets weekly for two levels (Beginners and Improvers) of Argentine Tango workshops, led by Kate Isotta and Tony Ramsey, who are 2 of the foremost Tango teachers in East Anglia. Currently we meet at the Park Hotel. Occasional open social dances (Milongas) and tea-dances are  held in various venues in the area.

Members book in for 6 sessions at a time, so that the groups progress together. Kate and Tony will match leaders to followers so there is no need to enrol as a couple, and everyone moves around to dance with several different partners during a session. Leaders are generally in demand!

 

Argentine Tango can be mastered in a few months to a level that enables dancing at social dances. However it is also challenging and addictive! We have links to Tango groups in Norwich, Cambridge and Suffolk, ensuring that you can dance several nights a week if you wish. In Diss we also meet on Sunday mornings to practice without instruction.
