Slow Food Waveney Valley is a local branch, called a convivium, of the international Slow Food movement, based in Italy. Its aim
"to protect the pleasures of the table from the homogenization of modern fast food and life."
Our next event: Cittaslow Thanksgiving Feast, 22nd November, 2007, 7 pm, Waveney Room, Diss Corn Hall
We work together with the Waveney Valley Food Group to run a series of events promoting quality local food and the issues surrounding it.
Slow Food Waveney Valley also has separate projects, and is organising a series of events for the Diss Food Network as part of the Diss Cittaslow Project.
