Minutes of Diss Connected Meeting, Thursday 8 May 2008, Fair Green Diss



Present: Tim Holt-Wilson, Gary Alexander, Madelaine Alexander, Stephen Gordon,  Sally Wilson, Jon Chambers


Minutes of previous meeting 24 April: accepted

Matters Arising: GA and THW met to discuss the web-site. GA has discussed changes with Jorg and further changes will be made.
GA has submitted the bank account application to Norwich and Peterborough Building Society.The other signatories need to visit the branch wit a passport/driving licence and a bill.


Action Plan: Discussion took place on the web-site.
Action GA agreed to inform SaW  on how to work the back-end of the web-site.

Those who will upload content : GA, SaW JR JC, THW
Action: GA and JC to liaise on sorting out current glitches in the web-site.


Agreed to create a data-base of local organisations:  sources of local organisations are Taylor Hall, Diss Community Church, Park Hotel. supermarkets, swimming pool, wholefood shop, Anandines,, Info Centre Diss TC. Library   

Action: SG to send a template to SaW Action ALL: send info to SaW

GA has prepared a draft of a letter to go to local organisations. to invite them to participate in Taste of Diss.
Action GA: send out the draft letter to all for feedback.

GA is working with GD on a flyer for DissConnected
GA has worked to involve a number of organisations.

Web-site content on organisations  and Taste of Diss is needed.  Authors from the organisations are needed to write short descriptive paragraphs, they can then send it to uploaders. Authors to include a short descriptive paragraph, regular events they run, a picture and a logo.
