Joining conditions for DissConnected.net.
What are you joining?
DissConnected is a 'connected community' now being formed "for people who want to live 'life as it should be' - working together to live more sustainably, with more control over their lives, and have fun". Find out more about us. You are invited to take an active part in helping us to create it.
However,
if you prefer, you can simply have an account on the DissConnected.Net
website, use its facilities, but not participate in the connected
community or its activities.
Do you want to become a member?
Members get their own members folder, in which you can create pages with pictures and links as easily as using a word processor. You can also add your events to the calendar and news.(But subject to approval of a reviewer before viewable on the front page). You can participate in discussions (when they are added) and be on mailing lists, add to the offers and wants in the eXchange.
Membership of DissConnected is free, but if you are active in the eXchange, we encourage you to make donations to reflect the benefits you receive (once the donations system is set up!).
Membership is meant for people who live or work in Diss, Norfolk, or vicinity, or who are participating in this project.
IN EVERYTHING PUT ON THIS SITE, MEMBERS MUST AGREE:
- TO TREAT OTHER MEMBERS WITH RESPECT AND CONSIDERATION,
- IN THE EXCHANGE, ESPECIALLY, TO ACT WITH INTEGRITY AND FAIRNESS.
- NOT TO ADD ANYTHING ILLEGAL OR LIBELOUS AND TO BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT WHAT MIGHT APPEAR OFFENSIVE.
